The Internet may be considered a new technology but it’s been changing rapidly and it has become an essential tool for business, communication, entertainment and education.
What does the future of the Internet hold? Surely, data transmission speeds will increase. Soon the costs of super-high-speed networks will decrease. And, wireless technology will continue to evolve.
One more prediction is that in the future we’ll achieve net neutrality which means that everyone will be able to access everything on the Internet equally.
Many fear the Internet will change human intelligence. Will having unlimited access to all information make us stupid? Our prediction is that the Internet will remain a tool that helps us learn.
Lastly, the Internet could potentially eliminate the traditional boundaries between cultures and create a united world.
